Special Events

Preschool Health & Safety Fair

Preschool children are invited to bring their favorite adult to this FREE exciting, interactive event.

Join us for this annual health & safety fair where kids and adults alike will learn valuable information to keep our kids safe and help them thrive. This event is full of fun, interactive learning experiences. Plus, each family will receive wonderful educational resources and materials surrounding the days theme.

Stations: Children will explore various stations surrounding health, nutrition fitness and safety including:

  • Smoothie Making - Nutrition
  • Tae Kwon Do - Self-esteem & Fitness
  • Plant a Pea Plant - Nutrition & Environment
  • Asthma - Health Awareness
  • Color Me Healthy- Promoting Healthy Eating and Nutrition
  • Worm Composting - Environment Health
  • Fire Truck- Safety
  • Seeing Eye Dog- Safety
  • K 9 officer- Safety
  • Snack Station / Free Art Station
  • Obstacle Course - Fitness & Health

Lunch: Be sure to pack a healthy lunch. We are ending the day with singing and a picnic.

When: 9 –12 on Friday, April 18th, 2008
