Martinez Preschool Cooperative

Join Us for a Year of Fun & Exploration

For fifty years families have been participating in our co-op. The Secret Garden expanded this year to the Growing Garden, located across the street from 921 Susana St. These programs explore the world of early childhood development through parent education and lots of hands-on, often messy activities. Enrollment is open to children who are 3 (birthday before December 1st) and through 5 years of age.

Co-op responsibilities:
  • Work days: Work one day per week in the classroom.
  • Two parenting classes per month: 1st & 3rd Tues. of month
  • Two 3-hour maintenance days, quarterly : Maintenance days are 3rd Sat. of each month
  • One 3-hour field trip monthly: Field trips are held monthly Oct-May.
  • Quarterly Parent Class: Parenting class or a distance learning course
  • Annual fundraising activity/events: 1st parent choice/2nd End of Year Celebration.
